What is Connect25?

Connect25 is a student engagement platform built natively with 25Live, not a third-party integration. It shares your 25Live database and includes event registration, logic-based custom forms, budgeting, activity tracking, and engagement analytics. Events created in Connect25 appear in 25Live in real time, and organization data flows in both directions.

How does Connect25 connect to 25Live?

Both applications share the same database, so updates to organizations or events on either side show up on the other without a sync job. Connect25 uses your existing single sign-on and role-based permissions. Canceled events in 25Live don’t appear in Connect25, status changes flow through, and approvals mirror in both places.

How flexible are the approval workflows?

You can have as many stages as your process requires, each with its own approver or approval group. A Student Life approval, a space approval, and a resource approval can each be a separate stage. Answers to form questions can also change the routing or skip stages entirely, so one workflow can cover a wide range of requests. Whether an approval automatically assigns a space in 25Live depends on your workflow, since it’s fully customizable.

How does budget approval work in Connect25?

Budget requests go through My Workflow, where approvers receive in-app notifications and can approve or deny. Connect25 tracks and authorizes spending requests, but it does not move funds. Actual money movement happens outside the platform, and you can export budget data to Excel.

Does Connect25 handle elections and service hours?

Yes to both. Connect25 supports organization-level and campus-wide elections, including voting and nomination workflows. Students log service hours and submit them for approval. Officers and administrators approve the submissions, and the data flows into engagement reports. Badges are optional, and only the criteria you configure are used.
