25Live Pricing: Concepts and ConfigurationsReturn to Top

Half Day Class

Interested in generating invoices and revenue for your institution, but unsure where to begin? Or maybe you’ve already taken an initial look at some of the various Pricing settings in 25Live but could really benefit from a guided tour that takes you through the next steps? Come join 25Live Professional Services consultants for an overview and deep dive into pricing, invoicing, and payment management in 25Live! Don’t worry if you don’t have your own pricing sheets or formulas with you as this class is designed to give overviews of each of the main fundamentals of Pricing before going further in depth on each aspect. We will look at the basics behind configuring 25Live to generate charges based off events, discount rates for different types of organizations, as well as making ad hoc adjustments and more!

Intended Audience
Anyone who wants to set up billing, generate invoices, and manage payments in 25Live.

Prerequisites

  • Users must have basic understanding and comfort in using 25Live (so that we can build off that and expand into the specifics of Pricing in 25Live).
  • Recommended: The ability to view and set Pricing configurations and formulas in 25Live. You do not need to be in the 25Live System Administrator security group to do this, but there are specific security settings necessary to enable access to the various aspects of Pricing, which you can find in this Series25 Help article: https://knowledge25.knowledgeowl.com/help/security-permissions-required-for-pricing.
  • Users must bring their own laptop or tablet device to participate in this session.

Schedule
Tuesday, July 21st – 8:30 am to 12:00 pm PDT

Fee

Half Day Class

Are you a relatively new 25Live System Administrator and unsure where to begin on deciphering the back-end security settings? Do phrases such as “Object Security” or “Assignment Policy Window” cause your eyes to glaze over? Have you ever wondered what is the difference between Functional Security vs. Object Security? Then join us as we take a look at the various types of security settings found within 25Live! This class will not only cover the various types of security, but we'll also give some examples as to why you might go with some settings (or combination of settings) over others.

Intended Audience
25Live System Administrators (others might be able to benefit from an in-depth discussion of these back-end security settings, but this really is for top of the pyramid system administrators).

Prerequisites
