To be eligible to receive a scholarship under the Event, the participant must enroll as an undergraduate (an associate degree or a bachelor's degree) student in an accredited US college prior to December 31, 2026.
The Grit Test (TGT) is more like a short video interview than a test. The whole thing consists of four short question-and-response segments designed to reveal your individual motivation, determination, self-discipline — the characteristics that are known to best predict academic success.
Who can participate?
The Grit Test Scholarship competition is open to all high school juniors and seniors planning to attend an accredited U.S. college within the next two years.


How are winners chosen?
Winners are chosen based on a peer voting process. Each participant reviews and scores the responses of their fellow scholarship competitors.
