Doug, hands down was the BEST SHOW EVER! Anyone know if I can find it on line anywhere?

This is pretty sad, but I remember good tv show that were on long before NICK was even thought about. When I do watch NICK, many of the shows seem to have the same type of theme behind them. Nothing compares to the old Laugh-In when people did not have to be politically correct. There were many great shows on before NICK and there will maybe be a few greats in the future, but with how pasteurized people have become, it is difficult to predict.

Doug was one of my all time favorites. Disney used to have a live doug show at MGM studios, and I must have seen it twenty times.

I also loved Are you afraid of the dark, although i could only watch about half of it.

They used to have a show called Gullah Gullah Island and I watched it when I was 7.

I liked Rugrats, Hey Arnold! I think those were my favorites.

I never had cable either. But I was still able to watch Nickelodeon and MTV.

But yo, JaDe, you brought it waaaaay back. Haha.
Double Dare, omgosh and you said Pinwheel, Today's Special, Adventures of the Little Koala, (holy cow) ok, I don't feel old but dag, David the Gnome, that was my fav, haha Eureka's Castle, Danger Mouse, Ghost Writer, Gumby, that wasn't my fav, though. Heathcliffe, Inspector Gadget, Land of the Lost, Maya the BEe!! The Muppet Babies, Ren and Stimpy.

haha, now thats the good old days. If they still show all the shows that I just mentioned, I would definitely watch them again. Like, Inspector Gadget, Maya the Bee, David the Gnome. haha it's funny.

I miss Doug and Gullah Gullah Island. Those were the shows that I wish were back on Nick.

I do miss Hey Arnold and Legends of the Hidden Temple but I watch those on noggin. I guess I am still a kid at heart but I love 'em.

You can't do that on television

Kenan and Kel is probably my favorite! I became obsessed with orange soda because of that show... I mean, its good but Kel just made it that much better!

I remember a lot of these shows with some of my older children. There were many nights that they came rubbing to me after that Are You Afraid of the Dark show.

I was constantly pulling them away from Rugrats around dinner time too.

Ok. I read these post and realized my age... When I was young (younger:)) it was the Smurfs, Transformers, He-Man, and Thunder Cats... LOL... I guess I cant relate with you guys on the Nickelodeon Shows. Gosh, I remember when it was just basic channels (NO CABLE) and you had to hit the side of the TV or try to possition the antenna in the right place to get a good picture... Call me old but they sure are good times to remember!

When I was younger[the time I lived in Puerto Rico] what I watched was 80's cartoon like Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, The Muppet Babies, He-man, She-ra, Thunder Cats, Voltron. In my teens I use to watch Nick shows: All That,Hey Arnold,Are you Afraid of the Dark, Ahh! Real Monsters most of the Nick shows of the time.

Hey Arnold was my favorite old nick show!!! the show was so much like me and my friends that every time we watched we would say oh yeah we just done that or yeah we have said those things before or we would get a good laugh out of an episode because it would remind us of some of the goofy stuff we had done together!!! Like hiding pictures of our crush in our closets like Hilda did of Arnold!!! Hey Arnold brought so many good and goofy memories back that I wish they would bring ti back!!!

Hey Arnold, Rugrats, According to Ginger (does anyone remember that show? Was it on Nick)and Rocket Power were my favorite shows.

Does anyone remember Slime Time Live? I was on that show!!! I didn't get pie'd but, I did make it on camera!! It was sweet :D

Well, for all you Double Dare lovers, MY FAMILY AND I WERE ON DOUBLE DARE! We were on Double Dare 2000. Ever see the episode with the Musical Mueller's and the Lucky Levinsons?..We were the blue team the Musical Mueller's lol. They still play it on the GAS network but the GAS network was taken off recently. =[

The Adventures of Pete and Pete, all the way.

What other show had LL Cool J and Janeane Garofalo as part of the teaching staff? The guest appearances on that show were amazing. I think the Michael Stipe cameo was one of my favorites.

I also loved Ren and Stimpy. Not only was it entertaining, but it was full of useful information for kids like, "Don't whiz on the electric fence." Who said cartoons weren't educational? Hah.

Well, it would depend on how far back I'm willing to go. But for nostalgia's sake, I'll give it to Ren and Stimpy. Those two always found a new way to make me laugh with each episode. Plus, they were the ones who taught me my very first song: "It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood...it's Log, Log...it's better than bad, it's good!"

I used to love watching Rugrats and Hey Arnold all the time when I was a kid.
