Many of us have dreams of going to school and finishing school/college
in four years. Which is the normal(so they say) amount of time to get a
degree. As for others, those wanting to get a higher degree know they
have to go to school longer and plan for how many years of study they
need. But we all know plans can't be followed all the time. Things
happen and sometimes broken plans cause us to take another route. Maybe
longer amounts of time, or even another field of study.
So my question would be to those college students in school, have you followed your plan so far? Did you receive your degree in the imagined time? Are you on the right path to getting your degree in the four years time? If not, what was it or is it that is keeping you from reaching that goal or following that plan?
For those students still in high school, what is your plan for college? Does your major allow you a degree in 4 years? Do you think you will follow your plan and get your degree when you think you will? What are some steps you can take to make sure those plans happen? What do you think would get in your way?
