I earned my bachelor's degree in English from Washington State University, Vancouver in 2008. I am currently working on my master's degree in teaching and am working on certification. I'm doing my student teaching right now, and it's amazing. I'm learning so much, but I'm also having a lot of fun. The students are really great and I'm enjoying getting to know them and watching them learn and grow.

On a more personal note, I've been married for two years, and my hubby and I have two awesome dogs: a lab and a papillon. We don't have kids yet (aside from our dogs), because I want to be able to devote as much time and attention to them as possible, and I can't do that while I'm still in school.
